2017 was the beginning of our motorbike career. We started training with Pass Bike in Rochford, Essex, UK. Whilst Geoff had to do all the tests, I could enjoy myself and just refresh my riding. It was good fun. Thanks to Ian and Graham from Pass Bike.
We also had a lot of fun trying different bikes and fantasizing about what we will eventually buy. Geoff bought Les’s Triumph Sprint when he moved to South Africa in November 2017. But then in 2018 he traded it in for his Triumph Tiger XRT. Liz eventually settled on the Honda NC750X.
A very funny experience was Geoff riding on the back of Franz’s scooter all the way to Fuschlsee to eat some smoked fish at the Schlossfischerei. Great fun (Rita and I drove in the car).
